    Description

    Todd McFarlane Marvel Tales #234 Cover X-Men Original Art (Marvel, 1990). This original cover art by McFarlane features Spider-Man, Jean Grey (Marvel Girl), Bobby Drake (Iceman), Scott Summers (Cyclops), and Warren Worthington III (The Angel), with a headshot of Professor Xavier in the corner box. It graced the issue that reprinted the interior story from 1972's Marvel Team-Up #4. In 1972, that story featured Morbius the Living Vampire's fourth appearance. This cover is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Text and trade dressing is paste-up and intact. Corner box has discolored from paste-up glue residue (A UPC box had been pasted over it at one point for production). Slight tanning. In Excellent condition.
