Description

Carlos Ezquerra 2000 AD Presents: Crisis #3 Title Page 1 Original Art (Fleetway, 1988). "Third World War, Coola Coca Kid." Published from September 1988 to October 1991, Crisis was a British comic experiment by Fleetway to see if intelligent, politically, and socially conscious comics could be successful in the UK. A companion title to 2000AD, Crisis was controversial in its approach, tackling issues such as environmental policy, food monopolies, and state surveillance. This large title page from an early issue of Crisis is rendered in mixed media on Bristol board with a large image area of 11.25" x 17.75". The texts are pasted on a mobile transparent acetate. Faint 4" horizontal crease in the upper left area. Light corner and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
