Description

Walt Simonson and Alfred Alcala The Rampaging Hulk #2 Story Page 9/Issue Page 11 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1977). X-Men characters Cyclops, Beast, and Iceman hijack this page away from the Hulk, in the Hulk's own black-and-white magazine. (The Hulk is busy elsewhere at this point in the story.) Solid action throughout, with the eventful setting of the X-Men's training station, the legendary Danger Room. Ink and crayon over graphite on textured Bristol board, age-toned and tape-stained. Lettering appears on a discolored vellum overlay. Image area, 11" x 15". Significant natural smudging in the crayon-shaded areas. (Crayon, like pure graphite, is by itself an unstable drawing medium, subject to smearing at the slightest touch.) Intact, and as such in Good condition.
