Steve Rude Nexus: The Newspaper Strips TPB #1 "The Coming of Gourmando" Story Page 25 Original Art (Dark Horse, 2021). In the shadowed stillness of the Netherzone, Nexus battles despair and corrosion until an unexpected arrival reignites his sense of purpose and hints at a greater cosmic reckoning. A portion of the "The Coming of Gourmando" story was self-published as a monthly newspaper as Nexus: The Comic Strip in 2016. This is one of the pages that only made it to print in the Dark Horse trade paperback. The board is labeled Page 21, but the story is on Page 25. Crafted twice-up scale in ink, Zipatone, and white paint highlights over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 15" x 21.5". Signed by Steve Rude in the lower margin.
