Steve Ditko The Amazing Spider-Man #25 Story Page 20 Original Art (Marvel, 1965)....
Description
Steve Ditko The Amazing Spider-Man #25 Story Page 20 Original Art (Marvel, 1965). This last page of the issue has several things going for it! First off, there's that amazing Steve Ditko artwork in these early issues... this page is stuffed full of lively energy and expression. Aunt May is looking fierce (she found Peter's Spidey costume and wants some answers). Peter is wide-eyed, sweaty, and kind of panicky. There is also a mention of Mary Jane Watson in Panel 3. This issue actually had Mary Jane's first appearance, though her face was not shown, and readers would not see her face for another 18 months! All-in-all, this is a spectacular closing page for Spider-fans. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". Lightly toned and in Very Good conditionMore information about Steve Ditko. See also: Ditko, Steve, Stephen Ditko, Ditko, Stephen Artist. Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
