Rossmo offers a glowering, multi-panel study of Madder Red, a masked villain whom USA Today has described as "creepier than [Batman's] the Joker." Rossmo's character design incorporates such influences as Native American tribal art, Japanese Noh headgear, and hockey-goalie face-protectors. memorably nightmarish.
