Description

R. M. Guéra Scalped #1 Story Page 17 Original Art (DC, 2007). Lincoln Red Crow checks in with the newest recruit to his Oglala Tribal Police force, Dashiell Bad Horse, while lamenting the persistent protests against his new Crazy Horse Casino. Unbeknownst to Red Crow, Bad Horse is secretly working with the FBI to investigate him for the murder of two agents. However, that doesn't stop Bad Horse from hopping into the Chief's Mercedes and venturing into the seedy corners of the reservation to conduct drug raids. Rendered in ink over graphite on DC/Vertigo Bristol board with a 10" x 14.75" image area. A 6" x 2" rectangular piece of the fourth panel has been cut out and replaced with an art correction pasted to the back of the board, creating virtually seamless results. The piece also features whiteout, handling wear, and production tape in the top margin. Signed by artist R. M. Guéra in the lower right margin and in Excellent condition.
