Description
Mike Ploog Planet of the Apes #6 Story Page 20 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). The tables have turned -- Jason now holds the power, with Grimaldi unarmed and at his mercy as the apes chant for blood. But before he can act, Brutus, the helmeted demon of hate, strides in and finishes the job himself. This final page from "Malagueña Beyond a Zone Forbidden" ends with a brutal, sudden twist, rendered in pure graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.25" x 16.25". Comes with a vellum overlay not attached to the board, missing several hand-lettered paste-ups and with glue residue staining. The main page exhibits light toning, minor smudging, tape/residue in margins, marginal pinhole, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.From the Mike Mignola Collection.
