Mike McMahon The Last American #4 Story Page 7 Original Art (Marvel/Epic, 1990). Vintage Epic imprint art shaped by the 2000 AD school of storytelling. A battlefield erupts as Pilgrim presses on beneath a smoke filled sky, flanked by machines. McMahon's harsh visual language amplifies the bleak absurdity written by Wagner and Grant.
