Description

Mike McMahon The Last American #1 Story Page 24 Original Art (Marvel/Epic, 1990). Rare page from a vintage Epic imprint series seldom seen on the market. McMahon renders the collapse with warped figures and poisoned terrain, reinforcing Wagner and Grant's fatalism. A nuclear flash drops civilians to the ground before the page ends with Captain Ulysses S. Pilgrim and his robot companion standing in fallout and rubble. The Epic imprint channels 2000 AD cynicism through nuclear ruin. Created in ink and watercolor over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". In Excellent condition.
