Description

Michael Lopez and Joseph Minor Spider-Man vs Punisher #1 Story Page 2 Original Art (Marvel, 2000). Serial killer John Gary, better known as "The Grinder", learns what it means to be on the wrong side of Frank Castle's aim -- a kneecap shot from the Punisher, who rarely misses. His shadow looms large in Panel 3, followed by the heavy tread of his boots in Panel 4, as he closes in on his wounded prey. From the one-shot that delivers a modern re-imagining of the Punisher's first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #129. Though labeled "Marvel Remix #4" in the top margin, this page was published in the 22-page one-shot Spider-Man vs. Punisher, released in 2000. Ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 15.25". Slight toning, smudging/soiling, spot staining, marginal notes, whiteout touch-ups, and minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
