Matthew Allison Cankor: Calamity of Challenge #2 Story Page Original Art (Matthew Allison, 2017). Allison's Cankor is an experimental, self-published head-trip of a comic, part meta-superhero story, part surreal sci-fi body horror, with the volume turned up on disorientation. A young man pushes past his comfort zone to hit a rock show, only to be met with violence and humiliation, and when he reaches out for help from the cyborg Cankor, reality splinters into psychedelic mayhem. The series plays intentionally off-balance, asking readers to connect the dots and build meaning as they go. Originally released across four self-published issues beginning in 2016, the story was later collected in a trade paperback by AdHouse Books in 2020. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light handling wear. Signed by Allison in the lower right margin. In Excellent condition.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
