Description

Liam Sharp Batman / Catwoman #8 Joker Story Page 19 Panel 5 Illustration Original Art (DC, 2021). The Joker prepares to swap out his iconic purple suit for one of the Santa variety in preparation for his ho-ho-horrible holiday plans in this panel illustration, which appears in Panel 5 of Story Page 19. Because the image appears smaller in the published comic, partly due to the surrounding panel layout, this original art offers the only opportunity to fully appreciate Liam Sharp's detailed depiction of the deranged Clown Prince of Crime. This page from the hit 12-issue miniseries written by Tom King is crafted in ink with white paint highlights over graphite on DC/Vertigo Bristol board with an image area of 10.75" x 15". Whiteout touch-ups, light smudging, and minor corner creasing. In Excellent condition.
Proceeds from the sale of this lot will benefit the Ed Asner Family Center, which offers a host of programs, classes, and therapy dedicated to promoting self-confidence in differently abled individuals.
