Description
Ken Steacy Night and the Enemy "Sleeping Dogs" Double Page Spread 9-10 Original Art (Comico, 1987). The commander orders an attack on this vibrant double-page spread from the story "Sleeping Dogs". The piece is a color re-creation of the artwork created by Steacy for the original version of the story featured in Epic Illustrated #4 (Marvel, 1980), adapted from one of writer Harlan Ellison's "Earth-Kyba War" series of short stories. This was later released in a limited edition from Graffiti Designs and re-issued in the anthology by Dover Books in 2015. Ink and acrylic on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 13.5". Signed by Steacy in the lower and right side image areas and Ellison in the bottom margin. Tape marks in the margins, vertical crease through the center, residue staining in the top margin, with light creasing and handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.More information about Ken Steacy.
