Description

John Romita Sr., Don Heck, and Mike Esposito The Amazing Spider-Man #60 Story Page 13 Original Art (Marvel, 1968). The villain Kingpin ranks as one of the greatest that John Romita Sr. ever helped to create at Marvel, and this page has two large panels of the heavyweight as he plots with Captain George Stacy in the Stan Lee story "O, Bitter Victory!" A distraught Peter Parker and his tormented lady love, Gwen Stacy, co-star in these scenes. Romita breakdowns, Heck pencils, and Esposito inks. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Mild toning, spots of adhesive residue and/or soiling, a top border that is trimmed unevenly, stripped-in stat text paste-ups in Panel 4, with marginal production notes and hole punches. In Very Good condition.
