Description
John Hebert and Greg Adams X-Men Adventures #9 Story Page 6 Original Art (Marvel, 1994). Overwhelmed by visions of Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), whose entire psyche is trapped within her mind, Rogue violently bursts out of the X-Mansion -- prompting Cyclops to call for backup to pursue her. This emotionally charged page from the X-Men animated adaptation of Rogue's tragic origin story -- and Ms. Marvel's heartbreaking downfall -- is rendered in ink, Zipatone, and white paint on Marvel Comics Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". All text is paste-up, and while there is evidence of a missing word balloon in panel four, it was intentionally removed prior to production and does not appear in the published issue.
