John Cassaday Planetary Preview Story Page 4 Original Art (Image, 1998). Offered here is a page from the pivotal backup feature that launched the Archaeologists of the Impossible, presenting Planetary's first appearance to readers. Elijah Snow and Jakita Wagner confront a shaken general in a hidden bunker, pressing him about David Paine, the vanished 1960s bomb designer behind the Integral device. This story appeared as a flip-book in the back of Gen 13 (Volume 2) #33 and C-23 #6. Rendered in ink and white paint highlights over graphite on Image Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15".
