John Byrne and Tom Palmer Silver Surfer #1 Story Page 9 Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Only the third page Heritage has offered from the epic one-shot starring the Silver Surfer! The former Herald of Galactus tires of his exile by the Devourer of Worlds and looks to make his escape from his Earthly prison. Calling upon his board, the Surfer bursts from the mountain peaks and soars into the stratosphere to attempt to breach the Barrier of Galactus. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed top edge and corners, acetate overlay with additional screentone shading taped at the top, tape abrasion on the bottom edge, marginal notes and tape registration marks, whiteout corrections, with light spot staining and handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.From The Tom Palmer Collection.
