John Buscema and Tom Palmer The Avengers #281 Story Page 16 Original Art (Marvel, 1987). The noble Asgardian Avenger would do well to heed the old saying, "All's fair in love and war", as Hephaestus takes advantage of Thor's mercy, striking a blow despite his lame leg. This action-packed page from "By Gods Betrayed!" was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15". Production-trimmed top edge, tape over page number paste-up, whiteout touch-ups, light smudging, and light handling wear. In Excellent condition.From The Tom Palmer Collection.
