Thoth-Amon's man-serpent Ssarbaarix hurls himself into the path of Conan's thrown blade, giving his life for a master who shows not a flicker of remorse. With the sorcerer unshaken, Conan, Li-Zya, and their companions make a desperate flight for survival on this page from "Jade Coils in Black Khemi". Ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15". Slight toning, smudging, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, marginal story notes, text correction and page number paste-ups, whiteout touch-ups, and light corner wear.
