Description

Jock The Batman Who Laughs #1 Joker Story Page 24 Original Art (DC, 2019). In a shocking twist, the Joker commits a surprisingly selfless act, sacrificing himself by shooting himself and forcing the Dark Knight -- against his will -- to ingest the toxin lodged in the Clown Prince of Crime's heart. Believing that Bruce must undergo the transformation brought about by the Joker toxin in order to defeat the Batman Who Laughs, the villain makes the ultimate gamble. Jock's frenetic style brings the chaotic scene to life, rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an edge-to-edge image area of 11" x 17". Whiteout and white paint are present, with minor handling wear. The image of Alfred in the center panel is a stat art paste-up. In Excellent condition.
