Description

Jijé (Joseph Gillain) Baden Powell Story Page 46 Original Art (Dupuis, 1950). A great sample of one of Jijé's classics, featuring the adventures of Baden Powell, the founder of scouting. Ink over graphite on two conjoined Bristol boards with a total image area of 14.25" x 17.75". Handling and edge/corner wear. Corners were trimmed in production and then reassembled to the page with adhesive tape on the back. Toning, mild smudging, with paper abrasions in the top margin and a small tear in the right margin running 0.25" into panel nine. In Good condition.
