Hugo Pratt Sgt. Kirk Planche originale remontée, page 23 (vers 1967). Hugo Pratt est surtout connu pour sa série emblématique Corto Maltese, mais les vrais amateurs admirent tout autant sa superbe série de western avec le sergent Kirk, déserteur de l'armée américaine qui se lie d'amitié avec des tribus indiennes. Démarrée en 1950, elle a été revue et continuée en Italie à la fin des années 1960. Cette planche remontée, numérotée en page 23, semble avoir été adaptée pour le format à l'italienne et pourrait donc être plus ancienne encore. L'image originale de chaque case a été détourée et collée sur une feuille de papier bristol sur laquelle ont été lettrés les textes en italien. Planche au crayon et encre de Chine sur papier brillant. La feuille bristol mesure 21 x 31,5 cm. Assez bon état.
Hugo Pratt Sgt. Kirk Partial Page 23 Original Art (c. 1967). Hugo Pratt is best remembered for his iconic Corto Maltese series, but true fans are equally impressed with his brilliant Western series starring Sgt. Kirk, a deserter of the US Army who befriends American Indian tribes. The series started in 1950, and was revised and continued in Italy in the late 1960s. This partial page, numbered as Page 23, seems to be the original art converted over to an Italian format. So this may be much older than at first thought. The main image area of each panel has been trimmed from the original slick art paper, and affixed to a larger sheet of Bristol board, where the Italian text has been hand-lettered in. Created in ink over graphite on slick paper. The Bristol board section measures 12.5" x 8.25". In Very Good condition.
