Gil Kane and Sid Greene The Atom #10 Story Page 3 Original Art (DC, 1963). Ray Palmer's girlfriend, attorney Jean Loring, finds herself defending a most unusual client -- a swan accused of having transformed from a woman to escape capture after a robbery. Myth and metamorphosis take center stage on this courtroom page from the Atom tale "The Mysterious Swan-Maiden!", created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 19" (including stat header paste-up). Toning, with dust shadows on the edges, missing stripped-in text correction ("[wond]rous of"), production oil staining, blue/red pencil editorial notes/marks, whiteout corrections, smudging/soiling, and minor corner/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
