Description
George Pérez Hulk: Future Imperfect #2 Double Page Spread 46-47 Original Art (Marvel, 1993). Not only do we see the (apparent) death of Maestro... we see the creation of the Hulk! The future version of Bruce Banner/Hulk is sent to the past just as Banner saves Rick Jones from the Gamma explosion which gives rise to the Green Goliath -- and though Banner survives, Maestro appears right next to the bomb and is torn apart by the blast. The double-page origin/ending sequence was created in ink over graphite on two Marvel Bristol boards with a combined image area of 20.25" x 14.25". The pages were previously conjoined by tape on the back, with adhesive staining on the top/bottom edges and along the center seam. Some discolored text paste-ups, whiteout corrections, tape registration marks in the margins, red keylines for the central mushroom cloud, with spot staining and handling wear.
