Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Daredevil #188 Story Page 21 Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Daredevil emerges from the recuperative isolation chamber just in time to see Stick's ninjas make quick work of Kirigi, a powerful assassin of the Jonin sent to kill the blind teacher of the Man Without Fear. Miller's fluid storytelling is accentuated on this page, with a panel layout that allows the reader to flow through the action with ease... and Janson's bold line and shadows add to the experience. It's no surprise pages from this period are highly sought by collectors and fans alike. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed top right corner, tape abrasion on the top and bottom edges, whiteout corrections/touch-ups, and light handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.
From the David Mandel Collection.
