Description

Frank Miller and Klaus Janson Daredevil #172 Story Page 6 Bullseye Original Art (Marvel, 1981). Bullseye shows just how deadly he is! The gang war is on as the assassin is hired to kill the Kingpin. And in usual Miller fashion, the talented storyteller weaves the intricate tale through numerous panels that draw the reader into the story unlike any other artist. This issue is said to have full pencils by Miller, as opposed to some later issues where he only did breakdowns. Also, Bullseye using a paper clip as a deadly weapon is a concept that found its way into the Daredevil movie. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Toned from exposure, an acetate overlay with Zipatone shading is taped to the board. The page has production trimmed edges and corners, whiteout corrections, marginal notes, and a page number paste-up in the bottom margin, with light staining, and smudging/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
