Description

Francisco V Coching Bahaghari Magazine Mara-bini Story Page Original Art (c. 1940-1941). Mara-bini stands for Marahas na Binibini, which translates to "Violent Lady". This strip featured a warrior woman from an isolated island. She predated Wonder Woman by several years. This page was created in ink and red wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 13". Signed by Coching in the title panel. The page is toned, with rips and abrasions. The lower portion shows some water damage and possible predation. In Fair condition. Comes with a COA signed by Filomena N. Coching.
