Description
Enrique Alcatena X-Men Unlimited #33 Story Page 27 Original Art (Marvel, 2001). This flashback to "The Dark Phoenix Saga" features Cyclops helping Mastermind to his feet after a corrupted Jean Grey/Phoenix (as the Hellfire Club's Black Queen) destroys his Jason Wyngarde illusion. The villain repays him by causing Cyclops to lose control of his optic blasts, unleashing them on his teammates Storm, Wolverine, and Nightcrawler. Ink over graphite on Marvel Comics Bristol board with a 9.75" x 14.25" image area; corner/edge wear and a 1" tear in the bottom margin that has only removed the top layer of the board.
