Description

Don Perlin and Dan Green Ghost Rider #27 Story Page 10 Original Art (Marvel, 1977). As Matt Hawk, the Two-Gun Kid, spins a tale about his misadventures with a motorcycle at the ranch, Johnny Blaze decides to clear his own head the only way he knows how -- by hitting the road as Ghost Rider. The Spirit of Vengeance roars up Widowmaker Peak, trading dust and altitude for a little solitude, and finding himself wondering why the ride always seems to be a lonely one. A brooding beat from "At the Mercy of the Manticore!", created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The lower left of the final panel and Panels 3 and 5 are stripped-in and secured with tape on the reverse. The board also presents with light toning, staining, whiteout corrections, production oil staining, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, smudging, discolored production tape and tape residue on edges, marginal production notes, production-trimmed edges/corners, page number paste-up, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
