Don Heck and Dick Ayers The Avengers #9 Story Page 19 Wonder Man Original Art (Marvel, 1964). The first time Heritage has offered a page from the first appearance of Wonder Man! When Simon Williams is given superpowers by Baron Zemo, he becomes Wonder Man and is forced to infiltrate the Avengers to trick and betray them for Zemo's Masters of Evil. But once Zemo reveals his plan to kill the Avengers, Wonder Man turns against Zemo, which ends up costing him his life. A classic early Avengers page which will have even more significance when Disney releases their planned Wonder Man live-action series! Twice-up scale in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5".
