Description

Dick Ayers Tales to Astonish #55 "Giant-Man" Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1964). Henry "Giant-Man" Pym takes a big risk by confronting a super-sized Human Top on the villain's own turf -- the resulting vortex threatens to "draw you into the air, and then dash you back to the ground!" The dare pays off, of course, in Panel 5. First-rate work from Marvel's most versatile all-around workhorse, Ayers. (The Top would change his name to Whirlwind in Avengers #46.) A twice-up whopper, in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 12.5" x 18.75". In Excellent condition.
