Dick Ayers and Rich Buckler The Mighty Crusaders #8 The Shield Story Page 2 Original Art (Archie, 1984). The faux LIFE magazine story of the original Shield from the 1940s, continues on this page from "Shield Saves Hundreds!" The cheeky little byline on the "photo" on the page credits "Photos by Dick Ayers and Rich Buckler" and "Story by: Marty Greim". Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". All text is stat paste-up. There are corner trims, and the top margin is irregularly trimmed.
