Dan Day and John Totleben The Saga of Swamp Thing #20 Story Page 12 Original Art (DC, 1984). Brushed off by a still-shaken Abby, Matt Cable drowns his sorrows in booze and self-delusion, summoning a phantom version of her that smolders in the palm of his hand. Meanwhile, the Defense Department Intelligence joins forces with the Sunderland Corporation to hunt down Swamp Thing and his allies, as Alan Moore neatly ties up the "Loose Ends" in this final chapter before reshaping the series into his legendary, era-defining run. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". A vellum overlay with inked art is placed over the top half of the page, and taped to the edges. Toning, minor foxing, staining, "Continued..." paste-up with minor wear and staining, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout corrections, production tape, clipped corner, and handling wear.
