Description
Dan Brereton Thrillkiller #1 Batgirl and Robin Story Page 20 Original Art (DC/Elseworlds, 1997). Sparks fly at Wayne Manor as Batgirl playfully gets under Robin's skin with a quip about Bruce Wayne being hot. Howard Chaykin's Elseworlds twist has the tension peaking in a smoldering kiss between the two vigilantes. Created twice-up scale in gouache on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 19.25". Vellum overlay with inked text is taped to the top margin, and exhibits discolored production tape, whiteout touch-ups, stripped-in text correction held by tape on the front, and minor edge tears. The page presents some rippling/waviness from the gouache, adhesive residue staining in the top margin, discolored production tape, marginal abrasions and creasing, and minor handling wear.
