Charles Sultan Yankee Comics #1 "Firebrand" Story Page 4 Original Art (Chesler/Dynamic Publ., 1941). Not to be confused with a like-named hero from Quality Comics, this Firebrand is a power-lineman who suffers an electrocution, only to be revived as a supercharged crimebuster. The origin-story page depicts Firebrand's first assignment -- stopping a pair of war criminals with his "controlled electric ray." Ink over graphite on age-toned Bristol board. Image area, 13" x 18". Handling wear, more pronounced in the margins. Harry "A" Chesler Syndicate stamp appears at upper left. In Very Good condition.
    From the Jim Steranko Collection.
