Durenyl's face is raked open by Dracula's talons, the villager's blood spilling as punishment for daring to trespass in the Impaler's stronghold. This chilling page from "Parchments of the Damned!" captures the folly of believing one could ever vanquish the Lord of Darkness. Ink and wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15". Light toning, whiteout touch-ups, marginal spot staining, top left corner crease impacting Panel 1, smudging, and minor corner/handling wear.
