Carl Potts and Jim Lee Punisher War Journal #2 Story Page 13 Original Art (Marvel, 1988). The Punisher prepares for a night of action. And in his line of work, you never know when you'll need a knife with a spring-propelled blade. Layouts by writer Carl Potts and finishes by at-the-time Marvel up-and-coming artist Jim Lee, who would later reach super-stardom as co-founder of Image Comics, later becoming publisher at DC. Ink, white paint, and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 10.5" x 15.25". Slight toning, tape on the top and bottom edges, page number paste-up at the bottom, with light handling wear. Signed by Lee at the bottom left, and in Excellent condition.
