Brent Anderson and Carlos Garzon Ka-Zar the Savage #1 Story Page 9 Original Art (Marvel, 1981). After reflecting on their lives and relationship in the untamed Savage Land, Ka-Zar, growing increasingly worried about his saber-toothed companion's prolonged absence, sets off to find Zabu, leaving Shanna behind. This page from the story titled "A New Dawn... a New World!" was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light staining in panel 5, trimmed corner, smudging, tape residue stains on top/bottom edges, stain in top right corner, whiteout touch-ups, page number paste-up, blue pencil editorial marks, production marks in margins, and handling wear.
