Description

Bob Hall and John Beatty Squadron Supreme #3 Story Page 22 Original Art (Marvel, 1985). The high-minded mission of Squadron Supreme, a notable precursor to Watchmen's darker take on superheroes, narrows here to one grim moment. Spectrum cannot revive Nuke. Panic gives way to resolve as he lifts his fallen comrade and turns back toward Squadron headquarters in this sequence from "Showdown." Ink on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The board is lightly toned with an irregularly trimmed top edge and corners. Whiteout art/text corrections, spot stains, blue pencil editorial marks, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
