Description
Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing #5 Story Page 3 Original Art (DC, 1973). Swamp Thing drifts from icy waters in the top corner of the page into a flashback recalling how he stowed away on a ship bound for America in the previous issue. Technically six panels, yet seven eerie glimpses of the muck-that-moves-like-a-man haunt the page, each stroke of Bernie Wrightson's inking a hymn to gothic horror in hero form! This page is produced in ink, Zipatone, and white paint highlights over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, whiteout text correction in Panel 4, and production tape on the side margins. In Excellent condition.More information about Bernie Wrightson.
