Barry Windsor-Smith Marvel Comics Presents #76 Wolverine / Weapon X Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1991). The adamantium bonding process reaches a violent overload as Logan lies pinned beneath the machinery that will forge Wolverine's unbreakable skeleton. Barry Windsor-Smith's nervous line makes the lab feel procedural and nightmarish, from the rigid control panels to the desperate figures around the table. The art calls Logan "Weapon X," later revised to "Experiment X" in print. Its Chapter 5 notation adds another production wrinkle, since Marvel published the page in Chapter 4, ahead of Wolverine's first printed Weapon X identification. Rendered in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Light toning, smudging, and light handling/edge wear.
