Description

Andy Kubert and Mark Pennington X-Men #22 Psylocke Story Page 5 Original Art (Marvel, 1993). This page offers up twice the Psylocke, as Betsy Braddock appears not only in her fan-favorite ninja form, but also in her original British body -- now inhabited by the consciousness of Kwannon, whose ninja body Betsy had "taken over" (ah, comics!). Here, the deadly duo clashes with the Silver Samurai alongside Gambit, as a double parry of psychic blades meets a tachyon energy-fueled katana in a flurry of violence that even sends a poor Buddha statue flying in the final panel. Rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel Comics Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 16". All text is paste-up, with residue stains (some of which have migrated into the image area), whiteout, blue pencil marks and editorial notes, taped page number paste-up, spot stains, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
