Alfredo Alcala Espesyal Komiks Yamato Story Page Original Art (ACE, c. 1960s). Rare early career Alfredo Alcala original art from his Philippine komiks period. A British naval officer briefs his men in a tight war room as plans form to strike the cruiser Takao. Attributed to Alfredo Alcala, from the "Yamato" serial first run in Espesyal Komiks #185 to #205, later likely reprinted in Alcala Komiks #82 (A.K.). Ink over graphite on two textured boards adhered to a support board with an image area of 10" x 12". Toned, spot stains, and handling/edge wear.
