After dealing with Technet, the impromptu team of Captain Britain, Meggan, Nightcrawler, Kitty Pryde, and Phoenix (Rachel Summers) relax by the fire, sharing memories of the X-Men, who are believed to be dead. The UK-based mutant team would be a hit with fans, leading to a regular series a few months later. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 17.75".
