Description
Al Williamson and George Evans Three Dimensional EC Classics #3 Unpublished Story Page 7 Original Art Group of 6 (EC, c. 1954). This story was plotted by Bill Gaines and Al Feldstein (who also scripted it) for what was going to be EC's third 3-D comic in the series. Although expertly drawn by Williamson and Evans, the story went unpublished for 20 years until the fanzine Squa Tront #5 printed it as a 2-D story in 1974. Created for printing in a 3-D format, each page has several layers of art created on acetate overlays. There are five acetate layers per page, created in ink and white paint. The sixth layer is a background created in ink and white paint on DuoTone onion skin paper. The combined page has an image area of approximately 14" x 18". The acetate layers are rippled from age and are extremely fragile, with the white paint easily flaking off. In Poor condition.More information about Al Williamson. See also: Williamson, Al Artist.
