Description
Al McWilliams Military Comics #6 Monsieur X Story Page 9 Original Art (Quality Comics, 1942). The story "Who Is Monsieur X?" introduced Monsieur X in his first story, and this page seems to indicate that it is also his last! (Oh, calm down and check that last panel... he's fine.) The twice-up scale page was produced in ink over graphite with blue pencil shading on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". The toned board has a 1.75 rip in the lower right corner margin. There are also blue pencil color call-out notations on the page. It is signed and personalized to Jack Butterworth in the center panel (although that has faded considerably).
