Steve Ditko and Sal Trapani - Original Art for Forbidden Worlds #138, Complete 3-page Story, "You'll Know No Rest!" (ACG, 1966). This is a very cool story by Kurato Osaki about a man who is cursed to wander the Earth without the knowledge of who he is, but is eventually saved by the memory of love. Steve Ditko is a legend in the world of comics. He solidified that status with the classic work that he did for Marvel, DC, Charlton, and ACG during the 1960s. This is an excellent example of that work. He was able to present, sometimes sweeping epics, in just three pages in a believable way that didn't leave the reader feeling like they'd been cheated. These pages are in nice shape with only minor staining. Three minor re-written text stats have fallen off that don't affect the flow of the story. Otherwise, all of the text is the original that is hand lettered on these pages. Each page averages 13.5" x 20" in size.Auction Info
