Description
Stan Lynde Rick O'Shay Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-17-74 (Chicago Tribune, 1964). This strip started with a more cartoonish look, and most of the characters names were plays-on-words. However, as it went on, the strip got more serious and in the mid-1970s the artwork became quite lovely. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22" x 9.5". There is a small about of tanning, yellowing to the Zipatone, glue residue, corner wear, and tape on the extreme edges, however the main image area is bright white.
