Wally Wood - Confessions Illustrated #1, "My Tragic Affair" Splash Page 1 Original Art (EC, 1956). When better love stories are drawn, they'll be drawn by -- Wally Wood. The breezy romance yarns of Fox Comics featured some of Wood's earliest comic book work. This detailed splash page, done only a few years later for EC's short-lived "Picto-Fiction" line, shows the almost unimaginable development the hard-working, dedicated artist made towards his final cartooning style of "magic realism."
